Our History

The Bighouse Basketball Tournament was founded in 2021 with the goal of bringing together experienced athletes who still have a passion for competition. What started with just three divisions—45+, 50+, and 55+—has quickly expanded to five, now including divisions for players aged 40 and 60 and older. This growth reflects the increasing demand for high-level competition among seasoned athletes who want to test their skills, stay active, and continue playing the game they love.

Our tournament has attracted an impressive level of talent, featuring former NBA players, Division 1 standouts, and professionals who have competed internationally. These players bring a wealth of experience and a high level of play, making every game both challenging and exciting.

Our Why

Beyond the competition, the Bighouse Basketball Tournament is about building meaningful connections. The court becomes more than just a playing field—it’s a space where athletes forge lifelong friendships, reconnect with past teammates, and create new bonds through the shared love of basketball.

In addition to fostering a strong basketball community, we are committed to making a difference off the court. Through our tournament, we have provided financial support to deserving high school students, helping them pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals. As we continue to grow, so does our impact, and we remain dedicated to supporting the next generation of student-athletes.
